What to expect in this course
The Look After Your Mate workshop covers an introduction to student mental health and the student experience, understanding when a friend may be struggling, communication techniques, signposting and boundaries, self-care and looking after yourself whilst supporting a friend.

An overview of student mental health and the challenges that students face. (Pre-recorded content, 1-1.5 hours)
A run-through of the Mental Health in Sport workshop (online and face-to-face). (Pre-recorded content, 2-3 hours)
Boundaries for staff and managing conversations with students, developing trainer skills, and trainer requirements, including impact measurement and publicity tips. (Live workshop, 3 hours)
